Intercom IC-17 is a device that allows you to conduct an internal conversation in the plane and external correspondence via a radio station.
It is possible to talk between the pilot and co-pilot, as well as with four passengers. The intercom is equipped with the VOX system (voice activation). IC-17 is equipped with volume and threshold VOX potentiometers, co-pilot isolation switch (passenger). It works with all aviation radio stations with an independent PTT transmitter activation line.
Intercom IC-17 is the successor of intercom IC-15. In the IC-17 intercom, the electronics have been improved and the operation of some functions has been improved. However, the rules of operation and functions of the pins remained unchanged. Therefore, where not otherwise indicated, IC-17 instructions are the same as IC-15.

The intercom can be mounted horizontally and vertically. The front panel of the Intercom is described on both sides, one side contains a horizontal description and the other a vertical one. Therefore, at the ordering stage, you do not have to decide how the intercom will be mounted.
